We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Plant / Mechanical Plant Fitter to inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy plant machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic ability, hands-on technical experience, and confidence working independently or within a maintenance team. This role ensures plant equipment remains safe, compliant, and fully operational to support production and site efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Routine servicing of heavy plant machinery.
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Preventive maintenance and completion of inspection documentation.
- Breakdown response with efficient fault-finding and repair.
- Welding and basic fabrication when required.
- Maintain full HSE compliance and accurate records.
- Coordinate with delivery teams and plant operations.
