A leading construction and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Civils) to support the delivery of a major long-term infrastructure scheme in Ipswich (IP3 9BF). This role is ideal for someone confident in supervising site teams and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
This position forms part of a major 400kV substation and network reinforcement scheme involving complex civils works, reinforced concrete structures, earthworks, drainage, and general infrastructure activities.
Key Duties:- Supervising daily site operations and workforce activities
- Managing operatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme
- Delivering site briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Monitoring quality, compliance, and progress
- Liaising with engineers, site management, and subcontractors
- Promoting strong health & safety culture across the site
- SMSTS (standard requirement)
- CSCS Gold or Black Card
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, General Foreman, or Civils Foreman
- Experience in civils, infrastructure, substation, or high-voltage projects
- Strong understanding of construction H&S procedures
- Confident communicator with proven leadership skills
