A leading power and utilities contractor is currently seeking an NG General Operative (NG Person substation) to support works on a National Grid project in Ipswich.
Duties include:
- Supporting site teams working within a live National Grid substation environment
- Assisting with general labouring and operational tasks to support project delivery
- Coordinating with supervisors, engineers, and plant operators
- Assisting with safe lifting and material handling operations when required
- Maintaining clean, organised, and compliant work areas
- Adhering to National Grid and site safety standards at all times
- Carrying out tasks as directed to support ongoing construction activities
