Working Foreman/Woman

Location: Lichfield, WS14 9JW
Rate: £26.17 PAYE
Hours: 07:30 - 15:30
Duration: Until November

We're looking for an experienced Working Foreman/Woman to support the civils team on HS2. This is an all-round supervisory role, involving hands-on oversight of structures, earthworks, and general construction operations, with flexibility to cover additional areas when team members are on leave.

Key Duties
/n
/n
- Supervise day-to-day civils activities including structures, earthworks, drainage, and general construction tasks
/n
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure works progress safely and efficiently
/n
- Support the delivery of planned works in line with programme requirements
/n
- Assist with daily briefings, task allocations, and on-site coordination
/n
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to specifications
/n
- Maintain communication with site management, engineers, and other supervisors
/n
- Provide cover across multiple work fronts when team members are absent
/n
/n
Required Skills & Experience
/n
/n
- Strong all-round civils background: structures, earthworks, and general construction operations
/n
- Valid Gold or Black CSCS
/n
- SSSTS
/n
- Up-to-date CV
/n
