Job Description Job Role: Coded Welder - Craft Worker 1 Sizewell Duration: Long - term (2 years +) Pay rate: £24.14 per hour Our client Sizewell is looking for Coded Welder - Craft Worker 1, who will be performing high quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings, safety standards, and operational targets. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols Setting up and operating welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) Executing welds to meet engineering, safety, and quality standards Inspecting finished products for defects (visual inspection, measurements, NDT if applicable) Proficiency in one or more welding processes: MIG / MAG and TIG, Manual Metal Arc (Stick), Flux cored, Spot welding. Knowledge of Fabrication techniques: Executing welds to meet engineering, safety, and quality standards Inspecting finished products for defects (visual inspection, measurements, NDT if applicable) City & Guilds 3268 / 3269 (UK), NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Welding/Fabrication, AWS Certified Welder CSCS/CPCS card (for construction sites) Desirable Forklift, overhead crane, or manual handling training.
