Hours: 7:00am-18:00 12 days on 2 days off every other weekend off
Duties
- Familiarity and experience with site operation and the techniques of Steel fixing.
- Experience of installing, bending and erecting rebar
- Experience at selecting correct steel specifications.
- Competent at selecting materials for a task and inspecting their suitability.
- Able to read, interpret and work from drawings and schedules.
- Operate power tools including drills, grinders, and welding equipment to join steel components securely.
Requirements
- CSCS card
- Proof of Right to work
- Pre-Qualification Technical Profile (PQTP)
- Onboarding requirements form
- HSE CITB Test
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer or similar role in construction environments.
- Valid commercial driver's license ("CDL") or experience operating heavy machinery is a plus.
- Additional skills such as roofing, masonry, carpentry, or experience with heavy machinery will be a plus
