Civils Foreman/Woman

Location: Hyde Rd, Mottram in Longdendale, Hyde, SK14 6NG

Rate: £ per hour PAYE
/n
Duration: 12 Months

A leading construction and infrastructure contractor is currently seeking an experienced Civils Foreman/Woman to support the delivery of a major highways project based in Mottram.
/n
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with civil engineering and infrastructure experience to oversee site activities and support the safe and efficient delivery of works.
/n
Duties of the Civils Foreman/Woman include:
/n
* Supervising daily site operations and workforce activities
/n
* Managing operatives and subcontractors on site
/n
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme
/n
* Conducting site briefings and toolbox talks
/n
* Monitoring quality and compliance with project requirements
/n
* Liaising with engineers, site management, and subcontractors
/n
* Promoting high standards of health and safety
/n
Requirements of the Civils Foreman/Woman include:
/n
* CSCS Gold Supervisory Card
/n
* SSSTS (SMSTS advantageous)
/n
* Previous experience as a Civils Foreman, Foreman, or Site Supervisor
/n
* Experience working on civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure projects
/n
* Strong understanding of construction health and safety procedures
/n
* Good communication and leadership skills
/n
