Rate: £19.70 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 17:00 PM

Duration: Starting ASAP, long-term ongoing work

Our client is a multidisciplinary, main contractor excelling in the delivery of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to work on a busy civils site in Guildford.

As a Groundworker, your duties will include:

  • Shallow and deep drainage works
  • Concreting, kerbing, and slabbing
  • Trenching and ducting
  • Preparing footings and foundations
  • Assisting with pipelaying and manhole installations
  • Working closely with machine operators and other site trades

Successful Groundworker must have the following:

  • Valid CSCS card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred)
  • At least 4 years of experience on civil engineering sites
  • Good knowledge of drainage and general groundwork practices
  • CPCS/NPORS for Dumper/Roller (preferred but not essential)
