NG General Operative (NG Person - OHL) Location: Ipswich, IP3 9BF Rate: £18.35 per hour - PAYE only Hours: 07:30 - 18:00 Duration: 4 Months A leading power & utilities contractor is seeking an NG General Operative (NG Person - OHL) to support works on the Bramford to Twinstead cable project. You will assist site teams working within a live National Grid environment and help ensure safe, compliant delivery of ongoing construction activities. Duties Support teams working within a live National Grid OHL environment. Assist with general labouring and operational tasks. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and plant operators. Support safe lifting and material‑handling operations. Maintain clean, organised, and compliant work areas. Follow National Grid safety rules and site procedures. Carry out tasks as directed to support project delivery.
