Join an experienced facilities team at HMP Highpoint as an Electrician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the electrical systems within the prison. Your skills will contribute to the effective delivery of planned and preventative maintenance across the facility.
Other duties of an Electrician will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain, install, and repair electrical systems in line with site requirements
- Carry out general reactive maintenance to meet long-term operational objectives
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to maintain service levels
- Complete planned maintenance tasks and respond to service requests using a CAFM system
- Perform maintenance and inspections, including in confined spaces and at height
- Respond to urgent and emergency tasks in accordance with service specifications and safety protocols
About You:
- Qualified Electrician: City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
- Certificate in BS7671 - 18th Edition (The Requirements for Electrical Installations)
- Minimum of two years' experience working as an electrician
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems is desirable
- Must have lived in the UK for the past 3+ years (for security clearance)
