We are currently recruiting for an experienced Demobilisation Manager to support our clients Property Transformation Programme. This Demobilisation Manager role will focus on planning and delivering complex Facilities Management (FM) contract exits across a diverse and high-value Prison and Probation estates. The successful Demobilisation Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth transitions between outgoing and incoming FM providers, maintaining operational continuity, compliance, and service performance.
Duties of the Demobilisation Manager Include (but are not limited to):
- Manage the demobilisation of Hard and Soft FM contracts across multiple sites
- Oversee transition activities between incumbent and incoming service providers
- Ensure continuity of service delivery with minimal operational disruption
- Interpret and apply NEC3 / NEC4 contractual requirements
- Manage supplier performance during contract exit phases
- Ensure completion of all closure activities including asset registers, statutory compliance, maintenance records, and data handover
- Act as the key interface between suppliers, FM operations, and programme stakeholders
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks throughout the demobilisation process
- Provide structured reporting to senior stakeholders within the programme
The successful Demobilisation Manager will possess the following:
- Proven experience in Facilities Management operations and contract management
- Strong background in managing complex FM transitions or contract exits
- Experience working across multi-site, public sector, or regulated environments
- Good understanding of statutory compliance, asset management, and maintenance processes
- Experience working with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills
- Ability to manage risk, performance, and programme timelines effectively
Due to the nature of the environment, you will need to complete standard Security Vetting.
