Rate: £34.00 per hour (Weekdays) PAYE ONLY | £51.00 per hour (Weekends & Bank Holidays)
Hours: 07:30 AM - 18:00 PM (30 min break)
Duration: 04/05/26 - 06/06/26 (34 days)
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in power and distribution projects across the UK, is currently seeking a Wireperson/Wireman to join them on a busy substation site in Swansea.
As a Wireperson/Wireman, your duties will include:
- Installing and terminating electrical wiring and cabling within a substation environment
- Supporting electrical commissioning activities
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Ensuring all work is carried out to high safety standards
The successful Wireperson/Wireman must have:
- CSCS/ECS card
- Manual Handling
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- EUSR Utility SHEA Power
- Slinger Signaller
- COSHH Awareness
- Fire Safety Awareness
- NG Competent Person Substation (NSI 6&8 Full)
