We are seeking a talented and experienced Team Leader to lead our Linear playout broadcast Video Engineering team. We are a leading provider of broadcasting solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality linear video content to millions of viewers worldwide. Our team of innovative engineers works on cutting-edge technology to ensure seamless delivery of live broadcasting services.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage a team of video broadcast engineers responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of linear playout broadcasting systems.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of video playout products and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, Core Engineering and Monitoring, to ensure seamless delivery of broadcasting services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot video delivery issues, ensuring high availability and quality of service.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the team's projects as appropriate.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage team WIP limits, roadmaps, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery for multiple projects.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in video engineering, and with a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of video Playout technologies.
- Experience with broadcasting infrastructure, specifically with BCNEXXT, Techex, Appear, Tag and other playout Vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to broadcasting and video delivery.
