Sky News is looking for an experienced and creative podcast producer to work on a new podcast project with one of our most recognisable on-air editors, Economics and Data editor Ed Conway.
You will be immersed in news and have ambitious ideas on how to turn Ed’s expertise into compelling audio and video.
We’re after evidence of creative flair as well as someone who has a CV which shows they’ve worked on product launches and masterminded audience growth.
This role has scope for ambitious and standout content in a busy market so we’re after someone with experience of producing podcasts and working with correspondents and presenters.
What You\’ll Do
- Record, edit and publish Sky News podcasts
- Write scripts, structure episodes, brief presenters and guests
- Work with senior colleagues to finalise a format and devise a plan for audience growth
- Contribute ideas, guests and angles for discussion
- Devise and develop new formats
- Help to grow our audience with editorial impact
- Have evidence of compelling ideas for social and visual treatments
What You\’ll Bring

- A firm grasp of national and international news and current affairs
- An in-depth knowledge of the news podcast market
- Extensive studio operating, recording, and editing experience
