As an Agile PMO Analyst with expertise in capacity planning, you will play a critical role in enabling effective governance and supporting the performance of delivery teams across strategic portfolios. Working at the intersection of delivery, finance, and strategy, you will help drive value-focused planning, maintain a balanced view of capacity versus demand, and ensure funded teams are aligned with organisational priorities.
What You\’ll Do
- Lead capacity and demand planning across agile teams by maintaining visibility of team allocations, modelling scenarios, and surfacing delivery risks.
- Facilitate portfolio planning cadences (e.g. PI or quarterly planning) to ensure demand aligns with available delivery capacity and funding.
- Develop and manage portfolio reporting and dashboards that track key delivery metrics (e.g. velocity, throughput, lead time, burn rate).
- Support budget tracking and financial operations in partnership with Finance, including purchase orders, actuals vs forecasts, and cost-of-capacity.
- Enable agile governance and delivery alignment by guiding prioritisation checkpoints and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships acting as a key point of contact for delivery leads and product owners, supporting effective trade-off decisions and agile planning practices.
What you\’ll do
- Experience supporting financial tracking activities , budget reconciliation with Finance.
- Solid understanding of agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Aha! Jira, Confluence,
- Experience in a PMO, Portfolio Analyst, or Delivery Analyst role within an agile environment.
- Proven capacity or resource planning experience
- Ability to model demand vs capacity and support prioritisation and allocation tracking.
Team overview
The role is part of the PMO team within the Strategy and Planning department of the Content Technology and Innovation Division, and is focused on supporting the project delivery portfolios of one/two of the departments within CTI. These portfolios are of major strategic importance to SKY and the PMO team provide support and governance on finance, milestone tracking, reporting, change control, dependencies and risk and issues for those portfolios.
