What you\’ll do
Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms across multiple environments and global regions using tools such as Concourse-CI, Terraform.
Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize application architecture for performance, security, and reliability.
Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to support rapid, reliable deployment of infrastructure and services.
Monitor and improve the stability and efficiency of infrastructure systems, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless operation.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to implement DevOps best practices and drive a culture of automation.
Build custom automation tools to streamline IT operations and improve system management and deployment processes.
What you\’ll bring:
Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (or similar orchestration tools) such as AWS ECS FARGATE.
Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline s using tools like Concourse CI, GitHub Actions , or Jenkins . Experience integrating security scans, automated tests, and blue/green or canary deployments.
Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub, including workflow strategies and collaboration practices.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to investigate and resolve incidents across complex, large-scale infrastructure, with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
Deep knowledge of AWS , including services like ECS, Lambda, IoT Core, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation . Ability to architect scalable, cost-efficient cloud-native solutions.
Demonstrated ability to develop custom automation tools to streamline IT operations, infrastructure management, and deployment processes.
Proficient in infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform and configuration management tools.
Solid programming experience in any language, such as Ruby, Python, Bash , and Go , used to script, automate, and extend DevOps workflows.
Strong Linux system administration skills, with the ability to manage, secure, and optimise environments effectively.
Skilled in designing and presenting architectural diagrams and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working closely with developers, SREs, and product teams in Agile environments. Skilled at presenting architecture, writing technical documentation, and mentoring peers.
