We are actively seeking a Social Carer to join our client\'s team in Waltham Forest on a Part-time, temporary basis. This is in a Dementia Care environment.

Provisional start date: 13th October 2025

Responsibilities

  • Experience of working in Residential setting for older people over the age of 65 years living with Dementia with fair understanding/knowledge of CQC inspections and standards
  • Managing staff - Supervision/Training/Handovers
  • Managing medications - Ordering/administering and returns
  • In charge of the care home as duty officer
  • Ability to prioritise workload and full of initiative
  • Health & Safety at Work and Infection Prevention Control
  • Staff Rota
  • Allocation of duties

Candidate requirements

  • Ability to use computer - send/receive emails, work on words & excel
  • Good communication & organisational skills
  • Ability to write reports and send out letters
  • QCF (NVQ) in HSC level 3 minimum
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year experience as senior carer in residential care home for older people living with dementia.
  • Candidates to bring along copies of relevant and current certificates, proof address, and proof of eligibility to Work in UK

Working hours

  • Shifts - including weekend and Bank Holidays
  • AM shift - 07:00 to 14:30 (7 hrs)
  • Mid shift - 09:00 to 17:00 (7 hrs)
  • PM shift - 14:00 to 21:30 (7 hrs)
  • 21 hours per week
