One of our local clients is looking for an individual to join the Accounts Payable team to support during a system upgrade, on a 6 month fixed term contract. If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.

Duties of the role:

  • Ensuring all invoices are processed on a timely basis.
  • Ensuring invoices have correct approval as required.
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving queries when there is a discrepancy.
  • Process employee expenses.
  • Dealing with suppliers including any invoice queries and reconciling statements.
  • Checking VAT is accounted for correctly.
  • Payment runs for customer compensation refunds.

Key requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts.
  • Balance Sheet experience.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.

The role will be full-time (37.5 hours a week) Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm, for a fixed term contract lasting 6 months. Salary offered is yearly salary equivalent of £31,729.
