Assistant Finance Analyst Italian Speaking (6 month FTC)

To support compliance with upcoming Italian legislation effective January 2025, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and traceability of Out-of-Pocket (OOP) employee expense claims.

What you’ll do:

• Manually review and validate employee OOP expense claims submitted via SAP Concur.
• Ensure each claim meets Italian legal requirements for traceability and documentation.
• Investigate anomalies or inconsistencies in claims and liaise with employees for clarification.
• Respond to queries related to expense submissions and compliance requirements.
• Escalate potential non-compliant items or recurring issues to management.
• Support audit preparation and documentation, ensuring clean records are maintained.
• Contribute to the successful transition to AI automation by helping define patterns or anomalies.
• Ad-hoc project work, as and when required.

What you’ll bring:

• Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) - mandatory.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience with SAP Concur or similar expense management systems.
• Prior experience in finance, compliance, or shared services operations preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
