Live Content Coordinator – Responsibilities

  • Coordination of all satellite, IP and fibre links for the transmission of live and non‑live content for Sky Channels.
  • Work with 3rd‑party service providers, broadcasters, Sky MCR and related stakeholders to achieve successful delivery of signals.
  • Enter all technical delivery details accurately in the booking system (ScheduAll/Link). Provide contact details as required.
  • Understand the technical delivery and resources required to allocate and deliver a feed.
  • Follow up with service providers when issues have been reported.
  • Prioritise workload so that all requirements are met to agreed timescales.
  • Act as an integral part of the Sky Sports News Live Content Delivery team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic team culture.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern of 3 days on, 3 days off, covering a full 2‑week cycle. Shifts include weekends and bank holidays. Employees will alternate between early shifts (06:00–18:00) and late shifts (11:00–23:00).

Qualifications

  • Current/previous experience in live content coordination/broadcast bookings or a similar role.
  • Minimum GCSE education.
  • Effective communication with technical teams, creative departments, broadcasters and service providers.
  • Good Word/Excel/Outlook skills and experience with ScheduLINK.
  • Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability to manage multiple events under pressure.
  • Team‑player who values team culture and contributes positively.
