Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to handle various situations calmly, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the venue.
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is essential.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
