Area Care Manager – Homecare
Up to £60,000 salary DOE + Annual bonus
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Care Manager to join a leading homecare provider and take responsibility for a substantial portfolio of services across the region.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will provide leadership and operational oversight across approximately 10 branches, alongside a local Live-in Care service.
This is a key leadership position, responsible for supporting Branch Care Managers, driving performance and growth, maintaining exceptional standards of care and ensuring customers receive outstanding service across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and support across approximately 10 branches and a Live-in Care service.
- Coach, mentor and develop Branch Care Managers to maximise performance and engagement.
- Build strong relationships with branch teams and create a positive, high-performing culture.
- Oversee operational and financial performance across the area.
- Monitor KPIs, reporting and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Drive both quality and commercial growth across the branch network.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory and quality frameworks.
- Identify areas of risk and take prompt action to address any operational or compliance concerns.
- Support service development, growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and performance insights to the Head of Operations.
- Act as a senior operational presence across the region, supporting teams through change and development.
Requirements
- Proven multi-site leadership experience within the care sector.
- Strong understanding of CQC/CIW regulations, compliance and quality frameworks.
- Experience overseeing multiple branches or care services.
- Strong commercial and operational understanding, with the ability to drive growth alongside quality.
- Excellent people management, coaching and leadership skills.
- Experience managing large and geographically dispersed teams.
- Confident influencing stakeholders and supporting teams through change.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and commercially aware.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
