An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager / Responsible Individual to join a growing care provider expanding its presence across the North East and Teesside.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ofsted professional to play a key role in overseeing and developing children's services, supporting high-quality outcomes while ensuring strong regulatory and operational standards.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a growing organisation and have the leadership experience required to support the development and compliance of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight across children's care services
- Act as Registered Manager and/or Responsible Individual as required
- Ensure services meet Ofsted regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Support the development, mobilisation, and growth of new services
- Lead and develop care and management teams
- Maintain strong safeguarding and risk management practices
- Monitor service performance, quality, and compliance
- Build positive relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, commissioners, and other stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across the services
- Work closely with senior leadership to support regional growth
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Responsible Individual, or senior leader within children's social care
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children's residential care standards
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience supporting service development and growth
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working within a growing and evolving organisation
