Operations Manager / Operations Director / Managing Director – Domiciliary Care
Location: Merseyside / North West
Salary: Completely Flexible DOE + Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational leader to join a growing domiciliary care provider with ambitious plans for expansion across the North West.
The organisation currently operates three established domiciliary care branches and is seeking a commercially minded leader to work closely with the owner to drive the next phase of growth. Depending on experience, the successful candidate could join at Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Managing Director level.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business, driving operational excellence, supporting commercial growth, and developing a scalable infrastructure capable of supporting long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operational performance of three established domiciliary care branches
  • Work closely with the owner to develop and execute the organisation’s growth strategy
  • Drive service quality, compliance, profitability, and operational performance
  • Support the expansion of existing services and the launch of new branches
  • Develop and mentor management teams to build a high-performing culture
  • Ensure services consistently meet and exceed CQC and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for sustainable business growth
  • Oversee budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and key stakeholders
  • Implement systems, processes, and structures to support future growth
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within Domiciliary Care
  • Strong track record of growing and scaling care services
  • Experience overseeing multiple branches or services
  • Commercially astute with experience driving revenue growth and profitability
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and quality standards
  • Experience developing and implementing growth strategies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance operational excellence with commercial objectives
  • Happy to travel across the North West as required
