An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Director to join a growing, clinically-led care provider delivering Complex Homecare and Supported Living services across the UK. The organisation has established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex healthcare needs, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. With services operating across multiple regions and ambitious growth plans in place, the business is seeking a strategic operational leader to oversee both service lines and support the next phase of expansion.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will provide leadership across the organisation’s Complex Care and Supported Living divisions, ensuring operational excellence, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Complex Homecare and Supported Living services
- Directly manage and support 2 Heads of Service, overseeing each division
- Drive service quality, compliance, and operational performance across all regions
- Ensure services consistently meet and exceed CQC and regulatory requirements
- Lead organisational growth initiatives, service development, and mobilisation projects
- Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, quality metrics, and business performance
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to deliver strategic objectives
- Support safeguarding, governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and key stakeholders
- Travel nationally to support services, teams, and operational objectives as required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within Complex Care and Supported Living services
- Strong operational understanding of both community complex care and supported living models
- Experience managing multi-site, regional, or national care operations
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, and quality frameworks
- Demonstrable experience leading senior management teams
- Commercially aware with experience supporting growth and service development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Based within the Midlands or North and willing to travel nationally on a regular basis
- Salary up to £90,000 DOE
