An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing and ambitious healthcare organisation based in Wolverhampton.
This is a key position within the finance function, supporting senior leadership with accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and performance analysis. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the organisation maintain strong financial controls while supporting continued growth across the business.
This role would suit a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a growing environment and wants the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs
  • Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Monitor revenue, costs, margins, and overall business performance
  • Prepare regular financial reports and management information
  • Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support financial modelling and commercial decision-making
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure accuracy of accounting records
  • Work closely with operational teams to improve financial performance
  • Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants and auditors where required
  • Contribute to improving finance processes and reporting systems
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Commercially aware with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insight
  • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within healthcare, social care, or a multi-site environment is desirable
  • Relevant accounting qualification or part-qualified status is desirable
