An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Complex Care to join a rapidly growing, nurse-led healthcare provider delivering specialist complex care and supported living services across the UK. The organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering clinically led, person centred care to both adults and children with highly complex needs, including neurological conditions, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, tracheostomy care, and ventilation support. With a strong clinical governance structure, experienced Nurse Managers, and continued national growth, the business is now seeking a senior operational leader to oversee and strengthen its Complex Care division. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality, operational excellence, and building high-performing teams across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational oversight of the Complex Care division across multiple regions
- Support and develop Registered Managers, Clinical Leads, and operational teams
- Ensure services maintain the highest standards of clinical governance, quality, and compliance
- Drive service improvement, growth, and operational performance
- Oversee mobilisation and delivery of complex care packages nationally
- Work collaboratively with clinical, recruitment, and business development teams
- Monitor KPIs, audits, safeguarding, and service outcomes
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, case managers, and healthcare professionals
- Support strategic growth plans across Complex Care and Supported Living services
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within Complex Care
- Strong understanding of CQC frameworks, governance, and compliance standards
- Experience overseeing multi-site or regional complex care services
- Strong clinical and operational understanding of community complex care delivery
- Experience supporting individuals with highly complex health needs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting service growth
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
