An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing healthcare provider delivering specialist Complex Care services across the UK.
With an established reputation for providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex clinical needs within the community, the organisation is continuing to expand its Complex Care division and is seeking a commercially driven professional to support its ambitious growth plans.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven background in Complex Care business development who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and making a real commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth of the Complex Care division by securing new care packages and contracts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ICBs, case managers, commissioners, and healthcare professionals
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across both public and private sectors
- Manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation through to contract award
- Develop strategic account plans to maximise regional growth
- Work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure successful mobilisation of new packages
- Represent the organisation at networking events, meetings, and industry conferences
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and achieve agreed revenue targets
Requirements
- Proven experience in Business Development within Complex Care or Community Healthcare
- Strong network of contacts across ICBs, case management companies, or healthcare commissioners
- Demonstrable track record of securing new business and growing services
- Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of Complex Care service delivery
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with operational teams
- Full UK driving licence
