An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within a Supported Living (Mental Health & Learning Disabilities) division. With ambitious growth plans across the Midlands and North, the organisation is looking for a commercially driven individual to lead on securing new services, developing partnerships and expanding its supported living footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new supported living opportunities within MH/LD services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and housing partners
- Lead on tender opportunities, framework applications, and off-framework business
- Develop and execute a regional business development strategy
- Work closely with operations and senior leadership to support service mobilisation
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract award
- Monitor pipeline activity and provide accurate forecasting
- Represent the organisation at networking events and industry forums
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development within supported living, mental health, or learning disabilities
- Strong network within local authorities, commissioners, and/or housing associations
- Track record of securing new services or contracts within the care sector
- Good understanding of supported living models and regulatory frameworks
- Commercially focused with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote role
