Area Manager – Domiciliary Care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Manager to join a well-established and growing homecare provider in Leeds.
The role will provide operational leadership across a number of domiciliary care services, supporting Registered Managers and branch teams to deliver consistently high standards of care while driving performance, compliance, and sustainable growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care leader who enjoys working across multiple services and has a strong understanding of both operational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight across multiple domiciliary care services
- Support, coach, and develop Registered Managers and branch leadership teams
- Ensure services consistently meet CQC and regulatory requirements
- Drive service quality, performance, and continuous improvement
- Monitor KPIs, staffing, utilisation, financial performance, and service delivery
- Support the mobilisation and development of new services
- Lead on safeguarding, risk management, complaints, and incidents
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners, and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for service growth and operational improvement
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver regional business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or similar senior role within domiciliary care
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
- Experience overseeing multiple care services or branches
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial awareness and experience managing operational performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the area as required
