Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver
Role Overview
To provide efficient, accurate, and excellent customer service as a core member of the warehouse team.
This role is primarily responsible for the precise picking and packing of premium food products.
Additionally, on an ad hoc basis, you will handle deliveries to our customers using our new van equipped with a tail lift, alongside undertaking general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Warehouse Operations
- Accurately pick, pack, and collate customer orders.
- Ensure all orders are correctly labelled, securely packed, and stored in the appropriate temperature zones.
- Conduct regular stock counts and product date checks as required.
- Utilize internal computer systems and complete all necessary warehouse paperwork accurately.
- Keep all areas of the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised to maintain an efficient working environment.
- 2. Delivery & Logistical Operations
- Load delivery vehicles safely, ensuring correct quantities and paperwork match the manifest.
- Deliver orders to customers in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
- Unload deliveries at customer premises, ensuring products arrive in pristine condition.
- Verify product quantities with the customer, check paperwork, and secure a clean proof-of-delivery signature. xgikmsk
