To provide efficient and excellent customer service as part of the Warehouse team responsible for the Goods In function and general duties in the warehouse.
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Unloading and checking of Goods in received versus PO & specifications
- Complete necessary paperwork and input on to system, highlighting any differences versus PO in agreed timescales
- Labelling of products/pallets
- Putting stock away in correct locations ensuring date code rotation
- Liaising with other departments on Goods in received
- Loading of delivery vehicles when required, ensuring correct paperwork & quantities
- Picking, packing and collating of orders for customers
- Making sure all orders are labelled and stored correctly
- Checking of stock quantities and dates as required
- Ensuring all areas of the Warehouse are kept tidy
General:
- Ensure you and fellow employees are always working in a safe environment
- Follow company guidelines on all Health & Safety matters
- Carry out checks on any machinery before use in your day to day working
Product safety and quality: be aware of your responsibilities and accountability involved with product safety, legality and quality systems through training programs against company procedures and work instructions. Ensure that our products and services meet all necessary specifications before they leave the premises. Observation with a keen eye for detail is required.
