I am currently working with a very good manufacturing client based in Telford. They produce precision engineered components for customers world-wide. At present they are looking to add to their team and wish to recruit a proven hands on machine shop supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day machining activities from programming (from scratch), setting and operating CNC machines.
• Predominately turning orientated with some milling.
• Managing two other CNC Machinists, controlling jobs from start to finish, through inspection and into packaging.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC machining skills with supervisory experience.
• Ability to produce quotations.
• Can programme from scratch with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of improving efficiency.
• Knowledge of Mazak machines, Mazatrol, Fanuc controls would be beneficial.
• Supporting qualification would also be good, Apprentice trained ideally.
