With another busy year ahead, this established and award-winning company now has an opening within their team for an experienced Exhibition Project Manager. The successful PM will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and will be accountable for taking full ownership of them from brief through to on-site handover. Acting as the client’s key contact, you will manage technical specifications, supplier coordination, budgets and timelines, to ensure everything flows smoothly and successful delivery of multiple live projects. This role will typically be 4 days in the office to allow for easy collaboration with internal design and production teams and 1 day working from home (subject to project demands).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of custom exhibition stand projects (UK & International).
- Take detailed client briefs ensuring their needs/requirements are fully understood and then translate them into actionable project plans.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal teams to ensure they are fully briefed.
- Liaise and negotiate with external suppliers.
- Produce project schedules, budgets, and build documentation as well as updating and maintaining internal systems.
- Handle client amends, challenges, and communications with professionalism.
- Attend site to oversee builds/installs and breakdowns, ensuring quality and compliance is maintained.
- Ensure health & safety, legal, and ISO 9001 standards are adhered to.
- Contribute to process improvement and mentor junior colleagues where required.
Requirements
- PRINCE2, Scrum/Agile certification, or equivalent project management qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, communication, organisation and IT skills.
- Project Management background gained from within the Exhibition Design/Build, Live Events or similar environment.
- Confident in liaising with clients on all levels.
- Budget management.
- Good understanding of materials and substrates and production processes.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/C4D desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport, coupled with the flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Internationally.
