Join us to apply for the Personal Care Assistant role at Skook Management Consulting. Our client is looking for a like-minded person to join their care team and assist them in daily living. You will join a team of PAs who provide personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult’s life.
Start: ASAP
Rota: Live-in 1 week on / 1 week off
Location: Wolverhampton (WV3)
Pay: £180 p/d = £1,260 per week worked
Free accommodation whilst on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
About Our Client: Our client is a young man who lives independently and requires a live-in Personal Care Assistant. He has Cerebral Palsy affecting his limbs and speech and has diabetes that requires regular monitoring. His responsibilities include ensuring comfort and quality of life, supporting socialising, routine, and outings. He loves football, cinema, TV, and spending time with family. He enjoys travelling by train, car, or bus.
About the Job: This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody else’s life. The client is confident in his ability and lives in his flat with the support of like-minded carers to assist him with:
- Personal Care
- Health Care
- Social Support
- Trips out (Cinema, Pubs, Restaurants, etc.)
- Daily Living
- Housekeeping / Domestic duties
Care experience is not required; full training will be provided.
Qualifications And Requirements:
- Previous care experience (Desirable)
- Clean UK driving licence (Essential)
- Good sense of humour
- Physical fitness, patient, and caring nature
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Mature and responsible attitude
- Fluent in English
- Clean and tidy appearance
