PA / Housekeeper to a disabled person at Skook Management Consulting.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding individual to provide housekeeping and practical support to an accountant with a physical disability. The role is a fixed‑term contract of 1 year with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Start: ASAP

Location: Westfield Village (South Woking)

Days: Monday to Friday

Shift patterns:
Morning: 5:45 am‑7:45 am / 6:30 am‑8:30 am / 8 am‑10 am.
Evening: 5:30 pm‑7 pm / 6 pm‑7:30 pm.

Pay: £15 per hour for morning shifts, £13.50 for evening shifts.

This is a job share with the other established PA. A rota will be set by our client, with regard to each PA’s availability. Working on weekends will be rare and discussed in advance. This is a zero‑hours contract, so hours may change suit our client’s needs.

Duties Include

  • Ensure the client’s property (a 2‑bedroom house) is clean and tidy – hoovering, dusting, etc., especially kitchen and bathrooms to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Organise the client’s clothes and laundry, keeping them clean and ironed where appropriate.
  • Support the client with basic personal tasks such as shirt buttoning.

It is expected that after a couple of weeks the routine you establish with the client will become instinctive and that you will start tasks on arrival without needing prompting.

  • Well organised and highly effective time‑keeper.
  • Good communicator.
  • Punctual, able to work as part of a team to ensure shifts are covered.
  • Clean, tidy, and respectful of the client and his partner’s home.
  • Instinctive with cleaning/tidying tasks.
  • Mindful of preventing the spread of viruses and bacterial infections.
  • Pay close attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • High standards of personal hygiene (regular hand washing).
  • Working knowledge of food safety/hygiene.
  • Basic cooking knowledge and competency with common kitchen equipment.
  • Mindful of the client’s privacy and recognise importance of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Access to own transport advantageous due to location.
