We are seeking a dedicated individual to support a young wheelchair user and first-year university student studying Accounting & Finance at the University of Sussex. No prior care experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Start Date: Training begins in July for September 2025 enrollment
  • Location: Sussex (Term Time) / Surbiton (Holidays)
  • Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off (live-in)

Role Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, therapy routines, and support her social and academic activities. The role involves manual handling, supporting independence, and respecting privacy and confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Own transport or access to public transport in Sussex and Surbiton
  • Physically fit for manual handling
  • Domestic skills: cooking, light cleaning, laundry
  • Non-smoker
