Job Position Description:

The cook prepares the delicious, quality food our brand is known for. The ideal cook is a food expert, cares about the details, and remains calm in the face of multiple, complicated tickets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Properly setting up and taking down station
  2. Cooking raw and prepared foods, including meat and eggs, to order
  3. Properly labeling, dating and filling pans
  4. Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining refrigerators, cooler drawers, and dry storage areas
  5. Taking inventory and stocking/restocking items
  6. Communicating with fellow staff members to ensure quality product and ticket times
  7. Adjusting to high-pressure situations
  8. Understanding and complying with food safety and temperature standards
  9. Maintaining a professional and calm demeanor always

Qualifications:

  1. Current Food Handler certificates
  2. Ability to carry at least 30 lbs.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  5. Able to multitask and organize
  6. Ability to stand for long periods of time
  7. Ability to reach, bend, squat and lift while on the shift
  8. Ability to withstand frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold
  9. Knowledge of kitchen equipment
  10. High School Diploma/ GED
