Being the first point of contact for our clients is a crucial role in our team. The successful applicant for this role will be the first point of contact for any visitor to our office. The position is office based, focused on supporting clients in emotionally charged situations and colleagues working under pressure. The role includes receptionist duties and providing administrative assistance for our lawyers. This role is full-time.
The main duties of the role include:
- Telephone contact with clients and other professionals
- Greeting clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintaining excellent client service and ensuring confidentiality
- Preparation of meeting rooms for in person meetings
- Diary management
- Collating and organising papers
- Dealing with incoming/outgoing mail
- Photocopying/scanning and filing
The person:
- Our preferred applicant will be able to demonstrate a warm and professional manner, both in person and on the telephone
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with care
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work constructively as part of a team
- Familiarity with (or a willingness to learn use of) Word, Outlook and Adobe
