Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Patient Coordinator role based in the United Kingdom.
The Patient Coordinator will greet patients, manage front desk reception duties, and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
Daily responsibilities include answering telephone and digital inquiries, handling Mandarin- and English-language communications, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records.
The role also involves coordinating patient flow with clinical staff, explaining basic treatment processes using appropriate medical terminology, processing payments, and supporting administrative tasks to maintain efficient clinic operations.
The Patient Coordinator will work closely with doctors and the wider team to uphold SKNCode’s standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including fluent Mandarin and competent English, with the ability to interact clearly, courteously, and professionally with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling and receptionist duties, including managing bookings, patient check-in/check-out, and handling inquiries in a timely, organized manner.
- Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-channel patient communications (phone, email, messaging platforms) while maintaining a calm, empathetic manner.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and a keen interest in aesthetic medicine to support accurate information sharing and effective coordination with clinical staff.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information in line with data protection standards.
- Demonstrated customer service experience in healthcare, hospitality, or a high-end service environment; prior work in a clinic or medical setting is an advantage.
