We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Assessment Nurse to join our Clinical Services team in our Edgbaston clinic. The role will report into our Clinical Services Manager and the successful candidate must be a registered nurse with a current NMC registration.
Role Purpose
The Clinical Assessment Nurse is responsible for undertaking clinical assessments and reviews relating to VAT exemption eligibility across aesthetic and dermatology services delivered by sk:n. The role supports organisational compliance with HMRC guidance by reviewing clinical records, patient questionnaires, consultation documentation, and supporting evidence to determine whether treatment qualifies for VAT exemption on medical or psychological grounds. This is a non-patient-facing governance and assessment role focused on professional judgement, consistency, documentation quality, and regulatory compliance. The postholder will work closely with operational, finance, and clinical teams to ensure decisions are evidence-based, appropriately recorded, and aligned with company policy and professional standards.

- Conduct VAT exemption assessments for patients seeking aesthetic or dermatological treatment.
