An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-driven Project Coordinator to join a growing business delivering retrofit, planned works, and building safety programmes across social housing and public-sector projects. This is a pivotal role within the operations team, supporting the successful delivery of high-profile construction and retrofit programmes while ensuring full compliance with PAS 2035, TrustMark, SHDF, Building Safety Act requirements, and internal governance processes.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, site teams, subcontractors, surveyors, and clients to keep projects running smoothly from mobilisation through to handover. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordination and problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, compliant work.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate day-to-day delivery of retrofit, planned works, and building safety projects
- Maintain project plans, trackers, schedules, and programme milestones
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, assessors, designers, and supply chain partners
- Support mobilisation activities including onboarding, documentation, and resource planning
- Monitor KPIs, track progress, and escalate risks or delays where required
- Manage compliance documentation in line with PAS 2035, TrustMark, SHDF, Building Regulations, and Building Safety Act requirements
- Maintain the Golden Thread of information ensuring all records are accurate, controlled, and audit-ready
- Upload and manage data within TrustMark DataWarehouse, client portals, and internal systems
- Support PAS 2035 lodgements, quality assurance documentation, and evidence packs
- Maintain document control for drawings, RAMS, specifications, certificates, warranties, and compliance records
- Produce weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, meeting packs, minutes, and action trackers
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication throughout project delivery
- Support resident liaison activities including appointment scheduling, access coordination, complaint handling, and customer satisfaction tracking
- Assist with procurement activities, purchase orders, invoice tracking, subcontractor onboarding, and supply chain administration
- Coordinate materials ordering, stock management, supplier communication, delivery schedules, and inventory control to ensure projects remain on programme
- Monitor materials spend, stock accuracy, lead times, and product compliance requirements
- Support health & safety administration including RAMS, inductions, audits, toolbox talks, and incident records
- Previous experience within project coordination, project administration, contracts support, construction, retrofit, social housing, or facilities management
- Experience with materials ordering, stock control, and inventory management
- Strong understanding of document control, compliance, and audit-ready record keeping
- Confident using Microsoft Office and project management or CAFM systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Knowledge of PAS 2035, TrustMark, SHDF, ECO, or retrofit delivery programmes
- Understanding of Building Safety Act requirements and Golden Thread compliance
- Experience using TrustMark DataWarehouse, Elmhurst, or similar systems
- Experience working with housing associations, local authorities, or public-sector clients
- Exposure to occupied refurbishment, planned works, or fire remediation projects
- Project management qualifications, CSCS card, or retrofit qualifications would be advantageous
