Responsibilities
- Define and embed cross‑cutting standards such as API/event contracts, workflow architecture, observability, resilience patterns and dependency baselines.
- Drive adoption of the Golden Path: policy‑as‑code CI/CD, progressive delivery, automated rollback/forward‑fix, data‑ready environments, secure‑by‑design guardrails.
- Lead and manage engineers across CEP squads, developing people and ensuring teams thrive.
- Architect reliability, observability and flow: codify contracts, automate test and monitoring, embed SLOs.
- Lead on‑demand environments and data: champion production‑like environments, enforce parity, enable data‑on‑demand.
- Embed shift‑left quality and security: contract, performance, resilience and security tests in CI, enforce push‑protection, SAST/SCA/DAST, SBOM/provenance.
- Lead the CEP modernization roadmap: decoupling, core refactoring, resilience uplift and technical debt retirement.
- Operate incident and recovery: run failure‑mode testing, tighten MTTR, generate audit‑ready evidence.
- Coach and raise the bar: mentor, lead communities of practice, publish reusable templates, shape hiring bar.
Qualifications
- Lead high‑performance delivery (VFQ) across CRM & automation, with a track record of reducing lead time, increasing deployment frequency and keeping change‑failure rate low.
- Build the right things and work backwards from colleagues & members, using journey data, case telemetry and feedback.
- Deep craft in CEP engineering & ALM at scale: Hands‑on mastery of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, solution packaging, environments, branching and deployments, and defining API/event contracts, workflow patterns, dependency baselines and guardrails.
- Proven ability to define and scale CEP Golden Path assets (pipelines, ALM patterns, connectors, event schemas, IaC modules and service blueprints) and deliver a 1–3 year modernization roadmap.
- Organisation‑wide influence, clarity & values: mentor, manage, lead, raise the hiring bar, improve decision quality, and partner across Platform Ownership, Architecture, Security, QE, Environments, Release, Risk and Audit.
