What You Will Be Doing As a Branch Manager

The Branch Manager will lead a team of customer‑facing colleagues, promoting high standards of customer service and ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring the team, creating a culture of high performance.
  • Taking ownership of the branch contribution plan, focusing on commercial growth and customer retention.
  • Ensuring the team confidently promotes products and services during conversations, using observations, one‑to‑ones and clear objectives linked to the branch plan.
  • Developing and delivering development opportunities for team members.
  • Leading from the front, engaging with customers daily, including serving customers and conducting ‘My Review’ appointments.

What Do We Need From You?

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a management role in a customer‑facing environment.
  • A proven record of delivering great customer service and outcomes.
  • Effective communication and time‑management skills.
  • A passion and genuine interest in people, acknowledging diversity of customers and colleagues.
  • An entrepreneurial approach to maximising business opportunities.
  • Stakeholder management skills, working with a Regional Manager and Head Office functions.
  • Experience in financial services is a plus, but not mandatory.

Salary: up to £46,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. Working hours: 36 hours across Monday to Saturday to support operating hours. Benefits include:
