As a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) at our seed-stage AI startup based in Old Street, London, you will:
- End-to-End Development: Architect and develop comprehensive solutions for our AI applications, guiding projects from proof-of-concept through to production.
- Frontend Excellence: Create responsive and intuitive front-end experiences that enhance user interaction and satisfaction.
- Backend Excellence: Develop and maintain robust backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- AI Integration: Utilize and master AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc., to build and optimize intelligent features.
- Prototype Building: Rapidly develop prototypes to test and iterate on new ideas, ensuring swift progression from concept to viable product.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with the team on product strategy, UX design, and integrating machine learning models.
Requirements
- Educational Background:
- A degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience working on complex systems.
- At least 1 year of experience working with AI applications in a startup or leading tech company.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
- Solid expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React for frontend development.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and optimize LLMs within applications.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.
