We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a new general haulage contract based in Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general haulage deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts.
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
- Complete delivery paperwork and relevant vehicle documentation.
- Maintain high standards of driving, safety and customer service.
- Comply with all road transport regulations and working time requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
