Skins Golf is looking for a Creative and Marketing Lead to join our growing team and help shape how the brand looks, sounds and behaves across digital, social, ecommerce and beyond.
This isn't a traditional junior creative role. We're looking for a golf-obsessed creative polymath - someone who genuinely lives and breathes golf, understands the culture surrounding the game and beyond, and has the curiosity and creativity to turn that knowledge into great content.
You might be shooting a product video in the morning, editing a Reel in the afternoon, helping develop a campaign concept the next day and creating a set of assets for an email or product launch after that.
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, creatively curious and comfortable making things. You don't need to be an expert at everything. But you should be hungry to learn, confident experimenting and excited by the opportunity to have a meaningful creative role within a growing brand.
What you'll do
You'll work across the full content and creative output of Skins Golf, helping us create work that feels distinctive, relevant and unmistakably Skins.
Content creation
- Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other paid and organic channels.
- Create product, lifestyle, social and campaign content.
- Shoot photography and create static assets for digital, ecommerce, email and social.
- Help develop ideas, scripts, storyboards and concepts for content.
- Turn ideas into finished content - from initial concept through to shooting, editing and delivery.
- Experiment with new formats, trends and ways of telling stories.
Creative
- Support the development of creative concepts and campaigns.
- Help maintain and evolve Skins' visual identity and tone of voice.
- Create digital assets across social, email, ecommerce and paid media.
- Work closely with the marketing team to translate commercial objectives into engaging creative.
- Contribute ideas rather than simply executing briefs.
Golf
Golf isn't just an interest for this role, it's an important part of the creative toolkit. You'll help us find interesting stories, characters, moments and cultural insights within the game.
We're interested in someone who understands that golf is much more than tournaments, tour professionals and traditional golf advertising. You should understand the people who play the game, the language they use, the rituals, frustrations, humour, style and culture that surround it. And, ideally, you'll be the person who is constantly thinking: "That's a great bit of content."
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines several different skill sets.
- You're a golfer and genuinely enjoy it.
- You understand the game and the culture around it. You know the products, the rituals, the language and the nuances of the sport, but you also recognise that golf doesn't need to be presented in the same predictable way it always has been.
- You have your own perspective on the game and an instinct for finding interesting, distinctive and aspirational ways to represent it without losing sight of what makes golf, and the products within it, worth taking seriously.
- You have a natural curiosity about the culture of the game and where it's heading.
- You're a creator, someone who makes things.
- You might already have your own social accounts, shoot your own videos, create content for friends, have a side project or simply spend your spare time making things.
- You're comfortable getting behind a camera and figuring things out.
- You don't wait for someone else to tell you exactly what to make.
You're a polymath. You don't need to be the world's best photographer, editor, designer or copywriter. But you should be good at lots of things and interested in getting better at all of them.
We're looking for someone who can move between: Idea β Shoot β Edit β Design β Publish, without being overly concerned about what their job title says they should or shouldn't be doing.
You're digitally native. You understand how content behaves differently across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, email, ecommerce and paid media. You have an instinct for what makes people stop scrolling, understand that a piece of content doesn't necessarily need to look like an advert to sell something and you're interested in what actually works.
Skills & experience
- Genuine passion for and knowledge of golf.
- Strong visual and creative instincts.
- Experience creating short-form video content.
- Comfortable shooting video and photography.
- Comfortable creating static digital assets.
- Familiarity with social platforms and current content formats.
- A strong eye for composition, typography, image and motion.
- Ability to take an idea from concept through to finished execution.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to experiment and learn.
We'd love it if you also have
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Experience with CapCut or other social-first editing tools.
- Basic motion graphics / animation skills.
- Photography experience.
- Experience creating content for a consumer brand.
- An understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing.
- Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
- Your own portfolio, social account or creative projects that demonstrate what you can do.
We care more about what you've made than where you've worked.
Personality & mindset
We're looking for someone who is:
Curious - always looking for new ideas, references, formats and inspiration.
Proactive - sees an opportunity and gets on with it.
Resourceful - can make great content without needing a huge production budget.
Collaborative - enjoys working with other people and bouncing ideas around.
Commercially aware - understands that creativity ultimately needs to help grow the business.
Obsessed - with golf, with culture, with content and with making things.
What success looks like
After your first year, we'd want you to have become an integral part of the creative engine behind Skins Golf. You will have helped establish a distinctive and recognisable content style for the brand, built a strong library of reusable creative assets and contributed ideas that have made Skins more interesting, entertaining and culturally relevant.
Most importantly, you'll have become someone the team can turn to and say: "We've got an idea. Let's make it." And you can.
We're looking for potential, curiosity and a genuine obsession with golf and creativity. If you can shoot, edit, design, write, think, make and - most importantly - see opportunities to create great content, we'd love to hear from you.
