About the role: In this role, you’ll be the foundational technical pillar for Analytics & Data Engineering across Skin + Me, Hair + Me, and Renew + Me. This is a high-leverage, IC role where you will be the primary architect of our data models and the guardian of our engineering standards. You’ll be the "builder-in-chief," transforming raw data across commercial, operations, and marketing into the strategic engine that powers our growth. You will report directly to the Director of Data and act as a critical thought partner in scaling our technical landscape.

What you’ll do:

  • Take ownership of our dbt project: You will design, build and maintain the core data models that define our business logic, ensuring they are modular, tested, and high-performance.
  • Build for scale: Design and implement data foundations that not only serve Skin + Me but are easily extensible across existing and future business units.
  • Operational Excellence: You’ll help to optimize warehouse performance (caching, clustering, query tuning) and ensure our pipelines are resilient with minimal downtime.
  • Bridge the Gap to ML: Partner with the Director to productionise predictive models, ensuring our outputs are fed by robust, low-latency features.
  • Champion Engineering Culture: Implement best practices across version control workflows, data contracts, and documentation.

How you’ll work:

  • Autonomy & Challenge: You will be expected to execute with minimal technical guidance. More importantly, you will be expected to challenge the status quo—if a proposed architecture won’t scale, you’ll be the one to flag it and propose the alternative.
  • Collaborative Impact: You’ll work closely with the wider business to develop requirements for operational data changes, ensuring our analytical needs are "baked in" to upstream product shifts.
  • Strategic Influence: While a technical IC, you will contribute directly to our medium-to-long-term data strategy, helping decide which technologies and processes will carry us through the next phase of growth.
  • Innovation & Automation: Actively champion and implement emerging technologies, including AI/ML and LLMs, to automate and optimize the data workflow—from ingestion to governance—driving efficiency and reducing the cost-to-serve for the data platform.
  • Agility & Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating a high degree of adaptability and resilience in the face of shifting commercial priorities inherent to a high-growth DTC business.

More About Skin + Me and the +Me Brands: There’s a huge problem in the world of personal care: people struggle with more than just how their skin or hair looks. They’re navigating confidence, identity, and long-term health—all deeply personal and ever-changing. The +Me Brands exist to change that.

Skin + Me launched over six years ago with one mission: to revolutionise skincare through personalised, clinically-effective treatment that’s simple, sustainable, and built around real results. Now a category leader and scale-up success story, Skin + Me has delivered millions of personalised treatments through our signature Daily Doser and helped customers transform not just their skin—but how they feel in it.

And now, Renew + Me is our latest evolution—an advanced prescription skincare brand created specifically for midlife women.

At +Me Brands, we advocate for real, long-term change—whether it’s better skin, hair, or health. Our mission is rooted in personalisation, expert care, and building deep trust with our customers. No compromises. Just undeniable results.

We recently raised £10 million in Series B funding, backed by top-tier investors like Octopus Ventures and leading DTC founders. Our founding team brings experience from some of the most trusted consumer brands in the world - Facebook, Charlotte Tilbury, Graze.com, and more.
