Social Media Executive

In this role you will be responsible for managing the creation of engaging and brand-promoting content for Skin + Me. You will focus on driving both engagement and growth through creative and unique ideas.

This role is perfect for you if you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about skincare and beauty! You should be knowledgeable about the latest social trends and adept at planning, filming and executing new exciting ideas.

You will be working closely with our Social, Creative and Medical teams at Skin + Me. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with strong communication and collaboration skills too.

What you’ll do:

• Content Briefing: dream up captivating content, and write briefs for our creative and copy teams to bring to life. You’ll be responsible for developing concepts, brainstorming new campaign ideas, and engaging with our community online.

• Strategy Planning: contribute to our broader social strategy, ensuring content effectively communicates Skin + Me’s key values.

• Be Reactive: thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll always know the latest trends and be thinking about how we can put our own twist on them.

• Brand Guardian: be a brand champion, ensuring polished and professional content across all touchpoints.

• Calendar Management: you’ll be responsible for daily posting and keeping the marketing team up to date with what’s happening on our social channels.

Skin + Me is a mission-driven start-up, building a pioneering online dermatology service powered by experts. We take customers through a simple online medical consultation and our prescribers formulate custom treatments that can’t be bought on the high street. It arrives in their letterbox each month and evolves alongside their skin – because everyone’s skin is different and no two journeys are the same.

Skin + Me recently secured £10 million in a series B funding round, reflecting the growing interest in expert-approved skincare. We’ve raised funding from some of the best-known direct-to-consumer entrepreneurs and VCs, including Octopus Ventures. Our highly experienced founding team comes from the likes of Facebook, Charlotte Tilbury, Tails.com and Graze.com.

These are the skills we’re looking for. Even if you don’t tick every box, but feel you’re right for us, we’d still love to hear from you and what you can bring to the Skin + Me team.

• A social native who knows the platforms inside and out and knows the difference between engagement rate, reach and impressions.

• An obsession with all things social media, especially within the online beauty and skincare community. Ideally, you’ll already be creating and publishing content in these spaces. Essentially, you’ll always be up to date on the latest trends and platform developments.

• A team player, there’s a lot of cross functional collaboration required to make social happen. It takes a village. We’re looking for a highly organised individual whose communication is on point.

This is a full time hybrid role with three days working at our Paddington HQ (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)., * 25 Days Holiday + all the usual Bank Holidays – It’s important to take a break and recharge, that’s why we offer a generous holiday allowance
