Skin + Me is a mission driven start-up with seriously big skin goals. We are looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our Finance Team at Skin + Me. This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days working from home (Wed, Thu).

Overview

As FP&A Analyst, you will be the commercial and analytical backbone of the finance function, partnering with leadership across all three brands to drive data-informed decision-making, own the budgeting and forecasting cycles, and deliver the financial insight that shapes the company’s strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning process across Skin + Me, Hair + Me and Renew + Me.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models that inform strategic decisions – from pricing and channel mix to new product launches and market expansion.
  • Deliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis and KPI dashboards to the CFO and wider leadership team.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations and Product teams to translate commercial activity into financial impact.
  • Lead the monthly business review process, providing clear commentary on performance versus plan and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support investor reporting, board packs and ad-hoc analysis for fundraising or strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and refine unit economics, cohort analysis and LTV/CAC frameworks for a subscription-based, multi-brand DTC business.
  • Champion continuous improvement in financial systems, tools and processes.
  • Manage and develop junior members of the finance team as the function grows.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by exceptional experience in FP&A.
  • Significant experience in an FP&A, commercial finance or strategy role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth or start-up/scale-up environment.
  • Proven track record of building financial models and delivering insight that directly influences business decisions.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with SQL, BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI) or financial planning software is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of subscription / DTC / eCommerce economics – LTV, CAC, churn, payback periods and cohort analysis.
  • A naturally confident communicator who can translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines without losing accuracy.
  • Mentally agile – you thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Curious, proactive and solutions-oriented – you see ambiguity as an opportunity, not an obstacle.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a regulated industry (pharma, healthcare, beauty).
  • Prior experience supporting board-level reporting or investor relations.
  • Exposure to multi-brand or multi-entity financial consolidation.
  • Familiarity with Xero, NetSuite or similar accounting platforms.

Why Skin + Me?

  • A daily challenge – in a thrilling, entrepreneurial start-up environment, no two days will ever be the same.
  • Make a difference – work within a revolutionary company focused on improving millions of lives.
  • Significant equity – potentially life-changing value if you commit to our long-term mission.
  • Serious commitment to growth – personal development is important to us and we’ll provide growth opportunities across your role.
  • Support network – the Skin + Me investors and advisors you’ll work with have built some of the world’s best consumer companies.

Benefits

  • 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
  • Free breakfast & lunch with drinks and snacks available.
  • Hybrid working with core hours 10:00–16:00 on office days; flexible start/end times on other days.
  • Equity – competitive salary and a generous share award package.
  • Health and wellbeing focus – healthcare cash plan, cycle to work, and healthy office meals.
  • £500 annual development budget for learning, training and development opportunities.
  • Nursery assistance for working parents (tax and National Insurance savings).
  • Culture club events and celebrations.
  • Discounted Skin + Me products for you and up to 10 friends/family.
  • Generous employee referral scheme.
  • Dog-friendly office.
